Bulk Trash Pickup

  1. 3rd Monday Bulk Pickup

    February 12, 8:00 AM - February 15, 5:00 PM

    Bulk trash should be out for pickup no later than 7:00 a.m. the morning of pickup. If bulk is missed please contact Progressive at 817-222-2221 to report it as missed. If there is a yellow tag left on the pile of bulk trash please contact Progressive for estimate or remove bulk trash from public view until next pickup day or will need to be disposed of appropriately.

  3. Wake-Up the Walls! Contest Entries Accepted (2/16 thru 2/25, ages 4-18)

    February 16 - February 25

    We will receive art entries beginning Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Deadline for the contest entries is Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. Stop by the Library on or after Monday, February 1, 2016 and pick up a brochure that will have all the necessary information and contest rules for this annual event. Be sure to note the size restrictions. An awards ceremony will be held at the Watauga Public Library on Thursday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m. All art must be picked up no later than Saturday, March 5, at 4:00 p.m.

    If you are a middle school or high school student and need help with math (Algebra I to BC Calculus), come to the Library. Teen Volunteers will be available to help you with your math homework. This program is for middle school and high school students only (6th grade to 12th grade).

  17. WizArt Club - Cut and Paste Still Life Flowers

    February 19, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

    Registration for the February class begins on Monday, February 1st. We will make cut and paste still life of flowers! WizArt is a volunteer group of art students from the Art Wheel Studio located in Keller, TX. They will offer free art classes at the Watauga Public Library the third Friday of each month to children 5 to 12 years of age. Registration is required and you may register at the Youth Desk. Registration for the February class begins on Monday, February 1st. Space is limited to 25 students. All supplies will be provided.
