  1. Bilingual Story Time with Mrs. Paola

    Joining Mrs. Paola for a very special Story Time for children 6 to 10 years old. We will enjoy stories in Spanish and English. Activities will teach participants about Spanish language and culture. Non-Spanish speakers will use the program to help them learn Spanish in a fun way. Spanish speakers connect with their Spanish heritage.

    Come out to Watauga’s Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family, fishing and camping out under the stars! Free hot dog dinner with pre registration(meal registration deadline: Wednesday, 9/16 at the Watauga Community Center). Poles and bait will be provided, or feel free to bring your own! Age Divisions : 6 & under, 7-11, 12-16. Prizes will be awarded. Don't forget to bring your tent and camping gear! Food will be served from 6:00-6:30 PM (must pre register for dinner by Wednesday, 9/16) Fishing Derby will begin at 6:30 PM Parents or adult chaperone must attend with children who are under 17 years of age.
