The City of Watauga Public Works and Community Development Department offices can be found in one of the most unique office buildings in the world- the City's Water Tower!
The Watauga Water Tower Office Building includes a two million gallon composite water tank with four floors of City office space in the interior of the tank. The purpose of the water tank is to provide the City of Watauga's 8,000 customers with adequate water pressure for household use, business use, and fire protection. The City of Watauga has the first water tower with four floors of office space.
